From Kampot to Osaka World Expo 2025

Dorsu, everyone's favorite slow fashion brand born in Kampot, Cambodia, is set to make its international expo debut at the World Expo 2025 in Osaka, Japan. As part of Cambodia’s national pavilion, Dorsu will showcase its commitment to sustainable fashion and responsible manufacturing on a global platform.

Dorsu represents Cambodia at the World Expo 

The Cambodia Pavilion, spanning 300 square meters, will be located in the BS3 zone of the Expo. Under the sub-theme “Saving Lives,” the pavilion will highlight Cambodia’s advancements in health, safety, and sustainable development.Visitors can explore exhibits featuring the nation's rich cultural heritage, including images of the Angkor Archaeological Park, as well as displays of agricultural products, handicrafts, and trade potential.

Dorsu's participation underscores Cambodia's efforts to promote local enterprises and diversify exports. The Ministry of Commerce has emphasized the importance of showcasing Khmer-made products, such as souvenirs, food and beverages, handicraft textiles, and artistic works, to attract international investment and strengthen economic ties.

The World Expo 2025, themed “Designing Future Society for Our Lives,” will run from April 13 to October 13, 2025, on Yumeshima Island in Osaka. With participation from over 160 countries and an expected 28 million visitors, the Expo offers a unique opportunity for Cambodia to present its culture, innovation, and sustainable initiatives to a global audience.

Dorsu's presence at the World Expo 2025 not only highlights the brand's dedication to ethical fashion but also represents a significant step for Cambodia in promoting its creative industries on the world stage.
